Friends In Deed is a free crisis center for people dealing with life-threatening physical illness, grief and bereavement, and caregiving. We do our work in Big Groups. We have a cancer group, an HIV group, one for grief, one for caregiving, and one general big group. Groups are drop in, confidential, and anonymous.

Service offers bereavement support groups for adults. The groups are individualized for specific types of loss, and for various Jewish cultural, spiritual, and religious needs. Groups include participants of similar ages with similar losses such as: individuals who have lost spouses, parents, children, and other loved ones. Eight-week groups are co-lead by a Social Worker and a Rabbi, and are offered throughout the year.
