The Friendly Fitness Brothers Shane & Brendon Samuel

Shane "Sage" Samuel
A certified parkour trainer who currently works as an independent personal trainer for private clients in NYC. Contact him directly for rates and availability. Born in Grenada, Shane "Sage" Samuel immigrated with his family to the United States in 2001. Growing up in East NY, Shane began to practice parkour and established Team Impulse in 2008. Together, Sage and his team served as community leaders and fitness role models for men, women and children who lived around Lincoln Terrace Park. In 2015, Sage joined Bullettrun and was cast as the lead model and action star in Rag & Bone's 2016 Spring fashion film. Pleased with his unique talents and charm, Rag & Bone cast him in their 2017 and 2018 fashion films and exhibits. He has also performed with Bullettrun for clients such as Intel and Empire State Winter Games. Besides working as a model and performer, Shane teaches parkour as a certified instructor. Since 2016, Shane has also helped developed Bullettrun's parkour youth program known as WildRun. He is fond of saying, "parkour is life" and truly believes this; since such a discipline has served as a way to not only improve his life, but those of his friends and family around him.
Brendon Samuel
Brendon Samuel was also born in Grenada a tiny island in the Caribbean. He is the elder brother of Shane Samuel (Sage). Brendon first started doing calisthenics in 2009. He was introduced to parkour through his younger brother Sage. He fell in love with the art of parkour after Sage taught him the basics. Brendon was also part of Impulse Parkour (Sage's parkour team in East New York, Brooklyn).
In 2016, Brendon was hit by a car one early morning on his way home from training. After getting hit by a car and suffering multiple injuries that kept him from walking for over 3 years, Brendon made a decision to not give up and start walking again. When he started walking again, he decided to do Parkour to gain mobility, confidence, strength, and find peace. Today Brendon is doing vaults, kongs, backflips, frontflips, handstands, etc., because he was able to join the Wildrun program and reunite with the great Sage who helped him reach his goals through the art of Parkour.
Currently, Brendon is a Business Management student at the Borough of Manhattan College (BMCC) and a personal trainer. Together, Sage and Brendon are the actual top duo to get anyone into the best shape of their life. They both have a history of experiences which puts them at an advantage to work with their amazing clients.
A parkour private or group session may include activities seen in this video below. After clients are taught basic parkour skills, they are encouraged to go on an adventure with their trainer. In the process they realize, “That the streets are your playground and recess lasts forevever.”
